Inventory 2025.

Welcome to the orca onboarding for the inventory of SBM purchased parts in 2025.

Key data

  • The BMW Group will request inventory checks in 2025 for selected SBMs:

    • Inventories for all SBMs without a readiness acceptance declaration, but with confirmation in the "e-order" until 2022, which have not yet been included in an inventory check.

    • Revalidation of inventory results, original due date in 2021.

    • Revalidation SBM Spartanburg.

    • Processing of still relevant open and current inventories.

  • The inventory orders will be sent out beginning 14th of July, 2025. BMW expects complete feedback on the specific due date; replies are generally expected until September 2025.

  • Photo requirement for local legal reasons generally for SBM of BMW SLP, S.A. DE C.V. ("San Luis Potosi" or "Mexico"), forthe other companies only on special request (inventory type with photos).

  • SBM of BMW South Africa (pty) ltd ("Rosslyn") are not planned for the 2025 inventory check.

Next steps

Ensure operational capability: at least one tooling coordinator for MyTools active by 1st of July, 2025.

Use the production resources table: View inventory orders and assign them to the correct processor.

Ensure timely processing: Especially for inventories with photo requirement. Observe the quantity structure!
